Introducing the U8977, a dedicated current input module designed to provide power to current sensors and facilitate accurate, high-speed current measurement. With its 3-channel input and automatic recognition and scaling of connected sensors, the U8977 makes it easy to achieve large current measurement with high precision.

The U8977’s high-speed sampling rate of 5 MS/s and 16-bit A/D resolution enable it to capture high-speed phenomena and deliver precise current measurements with a DC accuracy of 0.3% f.s. It is compatible with Memory HiCorder MR6000, MR6000-01（ver. 2.10 or later), MR8740T (ver. 2.00 or later), and MR8847A （ver. 2.00 or later), providing a single solution for 3-phase current measurement.

With automatic configuration of sensor scaling values, the U8977 can quickly detect and set the appropriate scaling value for the connected current sensor. Furthermore, since the current sensor power is supplied directly from the current unit, there’s no need for an additional sensor power supply, making it a convenient and cost-effective solution for accurate and efficient current measurement.
