Hioki CT6904A-2, CT6904A-3
and CT6904A-3, Hioki’s pass-through type current sensors that are designed for use in research and development fields such as loss measurement of high-frequency reactors, wireless charging systems, and EV inverter motors. These sensors can be connected directly to Hioki Power Analyzers and Memory HiCorders, and also to Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other instruments by using an optional sensor unit.
The CT6904A-2 has a frequency bandwidth of DC to 4 MHz (Model CT6904A-3 is DC to 2 MHz) and a rated current of 800 A, making it capable of measuring large currents with great precision. These sensors are designed to be used with an instrument with a high input impedance of 1 MΩ or higher.
One of the key features of the Hioki AC/DC CURRENT SENSOR CT6904A-2 and CT6904A-3 is their combined accuracy when used with Hioki Power Analyzers PW8001 and PW6001. The combined accuracy is specified in the instruction manual, providing users with peace of mind that their measurements are accurate and reliable.
In addition to their high accuracy, the CT6904A-2 and CT6904A-3 also feature a wide measurement frequency range of DC to 4 MHz (±3 dB) and DC to 2 MHz (±3 dB) respectively. This makes them ideal for use in a variety of applications where high-frequency measurements are required.
Another important feature of these current sensors is their high Common-Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR) of 120 dB (100 kHz). This ensures that any noise or interference from the power supply or other sources is minimized, allowing for accurate and reliable measurements.
