The SP-1U/2U Series is a high-performance programmable DC power supply manufactured by APM. It offers stable DC output with a wide range of voltage and current capabilities. The single unit can reach a current range of up to 200A and a voltage range of up to 800V. This power supply can replace multiple rectangular power supplies and provides multiple voltage and current groups, timed output, and various protection features such as OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, and SCP, which can be controlled through the front panel or a PC. It supports interfaces like RS232, RS485, and USB, with the option for LAN and GPIB.

APM SP-1U/2U Functions

1. Short Mode Function: Allows the power supply to bypass the short circuit protection and output ultra-low voltage for cable/fuse current carrying capacity tests.
2. Timer Control Function: Enables unattended operation by setting a timer that counts down and automatically turns off the power supply output.
3. External Control Function: Allows control of the power supply voltage and current settings and output status using external voltage (0-5V) or potentiometers (5-10K).
4. Measure Average Function: Provides stable displayed values by adjusting the averaging times when the DUT experiences sharp voltage and current changes.
5. Current Counting Function: Measures the cutoff time of a circuit breaker or fuse by timing when the current reaches a specific value and stops when disconnected.
6. Quick Recall Function: Allows quick retrieval of stored parameters using numeric keys on the front panel.
7. LIST Waveform Editing Function: Supports three different LIST file editing formats for different test requirements, enabling precise control of the output waveform.
8. Impulse File Format: Sets the voltage trend over time and duration with options for LOOP, CONT, and STEP execution modes.
9. Slope File Format: Enables gradual increase and decrease of the output voltage by setting the slope, also supporting LOOP, CONT, and STEP execution modes.
10. SEQUENCE Waveform Editing Function: An upgraded version of LIST file editing, allowing multiple LIST files to be combined and executed with defined repetitions.
11. Remote Compensation Function: Compensates for voltage drop on the load line to improve test accuracy by connecting a remote compensation cable.
12. Anti-reverse Irrigation/Power Sink Function: Protects the power supply from damage caused by reverse current flow and includes a short-circuit copper sheet to absorb energy spikes generated by the DUT.
