The 61509 is the latest of the Chroma 61500/61600 series AC sources based on a high power density and low form factor (5U) design. The 61500/61600 series programmable AC sources has the ability to simulate various AC line input conditions and measure critical product characteristics under testing. These features make the 61500/61600 series ideal for commercial, power electronics, avionics, military, and regulation test applications from bench-top R/D design verification and quality assurance to mass production. The enhancement of DC functionality with DC power ratings of up to 75% of full output power has further extended test application capabilities especially for AC/DC server PSU.
Using state of the art PWM technology, the 61509 model with a 6kVA Single-phase or three-phase selectable output can deliver the maximum output voltage of up to 350Vac and output frequencies of 15Hz to 2kHz with an optional enhancement up to 5kHz.
